Representatives of the CIS countries at an informal summit in St. Petersburg presented “club rings” with New Year’s congratulations, reports the telegram channel “Poole of the First”, close to the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
In addition to Lukashenko, nine leaders were received by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Russian President Emomali Rakhmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdymukamedov , President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The CIS emblem is placed in the center of the ring, and the congratulations are spelled out inside – “Happy New Year 2023”. It indicates the name of the state where the summit was held – Russia. The ring is made of materials similar to white and yellow gold.
The summit in St. Petersburg was held on December 26 at the B.N. Presidential Library Yeltsin. Politicians talked about seven hours.
