According to the report, the parties discussed the issue of cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy in the format of TET-AT and with the participation of delegations of both states.
“We consider the Italian Republic its important and reliable partner in Europe,” Rahmon emphasized at the beginning of the negotiations.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed a set of issues of cooperation between the two countries and the expansion of ties in the political, economic and commercial spheres, as well as the possibility of implementing joint investment projects.
was called priority and fruitful for the parties to use the rich experience of Italy, especially in the areas of hydropower, food, light and mining, pharmaceuticals, the use of natural resources and agriculture.
It is emphasized that the creation of a joint trade council will be a timely step to expand cooperation of the parties in the private sector.
The issues of finding new ways of cooperation in the field of traveling citizens and creating a direct air flight between the two countries are also affected.
In this direction, the leaders of the two states regarded as an important step an agreement on the abolition of visas for owners of diplomatic passports, which will be signed as part of a visit.
