Relations between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan are developing positively, many good, interesting projects in both energy and infrastructure development. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the Azerbaijani colleague.
According to the Kremlin website, in Moscow on the sidelines of the summit of the heads of state -participants, a meeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev was held.
“I want to immediately note that relations are developing positively, we noted this during a visit to Azerbaijan: more than four – $ 4.3 – $ a trade turnover, more than four billion – our direct investment in the Azerbaijani economy, many good ones , interesting projects in the field of energy and in the field of infrastructure development.
“We are very glad that we have the opportunity to exchange information about current work today on the sidelines of the CIS chapters and, perhaps, outline, make some adjustments to this movement, but it is obvious,” the president added RF.
In turn, the President of Azerbaijan said that the dynamics of bilateral relations between countries after the visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the country “quite noticeable”.
“there were many contacts at the level of representatives of various structures, members of the government in the framework of the implementation of the decisions that were reached in August in Baku. Today, as you noted, to go on these issues again, because the agenda is enough The vast and those projects, especially the new ones that we have outlined in Baku in August, require, of course, our constant attention and control. – said Aliyev.
