Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with a colleague from Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the Kremlin, “leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation, which is actively developing in all directions.” In addition, “a significant increase in trade, successful implementation of large joint projects in the field of energy and industrial cooperation, and productive contacts between the regions.”
“Confirmed mutual interest in the further comprehensive strengthening of the Russian -Uzbekistan strategic partnership and allies, intensifying interaction through the government, relevant ministries and departments of the two countries,” follows from the message.
