Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the Azerbaijani colleague Ilham Aliyev. This was reported in the Department of Relations under the Administration of the President of Turkey.
Leaders discussed the bilateral relations of Ankara and Baku. An exchange of views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda took place. Erdogan congratulated Aliyev on the end of the sacred month of Ramazan.
The press service of the Azerbaijani leader reported that the heads of the two states in a telephone conversation exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the Ramazan holiday and discussed the prospects for cooperation of the two countries.
“During the telephone conversation, the heads of state expressed confidence that Azerbaijani-Turkish friendly, fraternal and allied relations will continue to develop and strengthen in all areas, conducted an exchange of opinions on the prospects of cooperation,”- follows from the message.
According to Aliyev’s press service, the conversation took place on the initiative of the Turkish side.
