Presidents Of Turkey And Russia Discussed Bilateral Relations, Regional And Global Issues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the statement of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey, the leaders during the conversation discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, regional and global issues.

President Erdogan noted that Türkiye is aimed at expanding cooperation in many areas, including expanding the volume of trade between Turkey and Russia.

The head of the Turkish state emphasized that Ankara continues to make efforts to stop tension in the region and will continue to contribute to peaceful processes.
