Kyiv made an attempt to hit the Kremlin drones, but the attack was successfully repulsed, the press service of the President of the Russian Federation said on Wednesday.
“Tonight, the Kyiv regime attempt to strike with unmanned aerial vehicles at the Kremlin residence of the President of the Russian Federation,” the Kremlin noted.
According to the press service of the head of state, “two unmanned aerial vehicles were aimed at the Kremlin.”
As a result of timely actions taken by the military and special services, the devices were disabled using radar system systems, noted in the Kremlin.
Due to their fall and dispers of fragments in the Kremlin, there are no victims and material damage, the press service of the head of state explained.
“As a result of a terrorist act, the President of the Russian Federation was not affected. The schedule of its work did not undergo changes, continues in the usual mode,” the report said.
The Kremlin regarding the attempt to strike the Kyiv regime as a planned terrorist action and attempt on the President of the Russian Federation on the eve of Victory Day. “We regard these actions as a planned terrorist action and attempt on the President of the Russian Federation, held on the eve of Victory Day, the parade on May 9, which is planned to be the presence of foreign guests,” the message said further.
Moscow emphasized that Russia reserves the right to answer the Kremlin strike attempted where and when it considers it necessary.
