Prime Minister: Armenia Is Ready To Sign An Agreement On Peace With Azerbaijan And Dissolve OSCE MG

Armenia is ready to sign an agreement on peace with Azerbaijan and dissolve the Minsk OSCE group at the same time. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the speech in parliament, the media reports.

The Prime Minister noted that the draft “Agreement on the world and establishing interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan” agreed, the parties entered the stage of discussion around the signing.

“Azerbaijan at the official level connects the signing of an agreement with two issues, one of them is the dissolution of the structures of the OSCE Minsk group. I repeatedly stated that this agenda is acceptable for the Republic of Armenia. Baku claims that in order to sign a peace agreement, Armenia must change the constitution and exclude a reference to the declaration of independence from the text of the Basic Law, which includes the mention of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
