Difficulties in the relations of Georgia and the European Union will be overcome and the country will become a full member of the community in 2030. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze, local media reports.
“I am sure that all the difficulties that are today associated with the development of the European Union and relations between Georgia and the European Union will be overcome,” the words of the head of government are given.
The politician emphasized that the entry into the EU remains the main priority of Tbilisi’s foreign policy.
Kobahidze expressed confidence that Georgia “with its unique culture and traditions will make an important contribution to the success of the European Union.”
Georgia received the status of a candidate country to join the EU December 2023.
