Georgia is interested in taking specific practical steps and offers the initiative of tripartite cooperation, which provides for the participation of all three countries of the South Caucasus.
This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the opening of the 10th meeting of the Inter-government Commission for Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in Baku.
“We are sincerely interested in taking specific practical steps and contributing to cooperation in the region. Georgia offers the parties to the initiative of trilateral cooperation, which provides for the involvement of all three countries of the South Caucasus into various areas,” the politician said.
According to him, in the context of a rapidly changing and complex geopolitical situation in the region and around the world, “Stability and Peace are even more important as a key factor in regional development and sustainable well -being.”
The prime minister expressed confidence that the meeting of the commission will reveal new opportunities for expanding cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan to make a strategic partnership between Baku and Tbilisi even more dynamic and fruitful.
