Prime Minister: Georgia Will Not Give Up EU And NATO

Georgian governments do not intend to remove or amends Article 78 of the Constitution of the country, which speaks of the country’s desire in the European Union and NATO.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobahidze.

“I can definitely say that we do not plan to clean or amend article 78,” the prime minister said on the air of one of the Georgian television channels.

Earlier, the head of the government admitted that the EU may begin negotiations with Tbilisi on joining the community this year. At the same time, the politician noted that the probability of this is small, while the conflict continues in Ukraine.
