Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan condemned the burning of the Turkish and Azerbaijani flags during the procession organized in Yerevan on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1915 events.
“Prime Minister Pashinyan considers this incident an irresponsible and unacceptable act and decisively condemns him. The burning of the flags of an international recognized state, especially neighboring, cannot be evaluated otherwise by the head of state. This was a provocative and instigatial action,” said Pashinyan spokesman Nazili Baghdasaryans.
On the eve of Yerevan, a march was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the events of 1915. The action was organized by the Dashnaktsutyun party.
