Prime Minister Of Armenia: Defeat In Karabakh Gave “the Opportunity To Have An Independent Country”

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the defeat on Karabakh in the fall of 2020 “made it possible to have an independent and sovereign country.” This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, reports TASS.

“I can say that, having suffered a defeat, we gained the opportunity to have an independent and sovereign state,” he said in Washington at a meeting with representatives of the local Armenian community.

Pashinyan also added that “due to certain circumstances” in the South Caucasus there was a lot of negativity in relation to Armenia.

“It is very important to be able to cope with this negative. We act correctly, trying to cope with this negative without emotions, in the most effective ways,” added the Armenian leader.
