Azerbaijan has a very profitable investment climate, which Turkish companies actively use. Baku is ready to take all the necessary steps to increase the volume of mutual investments.

Assadov emphasized that Azerbaijan is ready for further mutually beneficial economic cooperation with Turkey, which meets the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
“I am sure that the business communities should take advantage of the beneficial capabilities of the investment environment of our countries,” he said.
Assadov recalled that the volume of Turkish investments in the Azerbaijani economy exceeded $ 16 billion, and the volume of Azerbaijani invested in the Turkish economy overcame $ 20 billion.
Today, more than 4 thousand Turkish companies are actively operating in the Azerbaijan market, thereby compiling the majority of other foreign companies in the country, he added.
The Prime Minister attracted attention to the fact that work on the expansion of the framework of the preferential trade agreement is being carried out through the economic departments of the two fraternal countries.
After the 44-day Patriotic War, new opportunities opened up for the development of cooperation with Turkey, said the head of the Azerbaijani government.
“Masshabous recovery work is carried out on the territories of Azerbaijan, which are also actively involved in Turkish companies. More than 20 Turkey companies today sell about 50 projects with a total value of $ 4 billion,” Asadov stated.
According to the Prime Minister, infrastructure projects implemented in Azerbaijan contribute to increasing the interest of investors in our country.
“One of the priorities for the Azerbaijan government in the last period was the sphere of transport. The efforts in this direction already give their specific fruits. The infrastructure capabilities of our country have turned into an important link in such large-scale transport initiatives as the east-west and north-yug”, -emphasized the head of government, who also attracted attention to the work to expand the capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway.
Assadov also pointed out the significance of the development of the green economy. “The upcoming 29th session of the conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) is a component of the general green agenda of Azerbaijan. We invite Turkish investors to cooperation and in the field of renewable energy,” said Prime Minister.
