In Georgia, siski terrorist acts are preserved, while the armed conflict continues in Ukraine. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze on the air of Georgian television.
“The risks are preserved as long as the war in Ukraine continues. While the context is so, these risks will remain in our country,” the head of government said.
Kobakhidze said about this, answering the question of whether the danger of attacks in the country remains in connection with the case of preparing an attempt on the founder of the Georgian Dream party Bidzin Ivanishvili, which is investigated by the State Security Service (SGB).
According to the prime minister, the country’s authorities expect that the war in Ukraine should end no later than next year.
Earlier, the SGB of Georgia has dissolved information on the preparation of the murder of Ivanishvili by former representatives of the Georgian authorities who are currently living in Ukraine.
