Prime Minister Of Georgia Excluded Diplomatic Mission With Russia

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze excluded the possibility of restoring diplomatic relations with Russia. The head of the Georgian government said this in an interview with Euronews.

“We do not have a space for the restoration of diplomitions [with Russia] due to the so -called recognition of the so -called independence of Abkhazia and the Tskhinval region,” said politicians.

The prime minister added that there is no other option for resolving this issue, except for peaceful settlement.

At the same time, he emphasized that Georgia adheres to a pragmatic position in relations with Moscow. According to him, this is reflected, in particular, in support of trade and economic contacts with Russia, which will develop in the future.
