Russian-Chinese relations are experiencing the best period in their history. They are based on a strong basis for good neighborliness, equality, mutual respect for each other. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the State Council of the PRC Lee Qian.
“Our comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction is especially important in a situation where the contours of the new world order are formed. Under these conditions, the Russian -China bunch acts as a powerful stabilizing factor, contributes to the growth of the economies of both countries, to improve the quality of life of citizens,” the head of the Russian government said .
According to him, last year the Russian-Chinese turnover increased by 23% and reached the next record, exceeding 20 trillion rubles, or 1.6 trillion yuan.
“Energy partnership is strengthened. Russia has a leading position on oil export to China. We will soon come to first place in natural gas. At a good level of coal supply. Joint work is being promoted in a peaceful atom. We discuss the conditions of new large -scale initiatives,” – – – – Mishustin noted.
In addition, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation drew attention to the difficult external conditions and pressure of the West.
“We are in difficult external conditions. The Western countries under far -fetched pretexts use illegitimate sanctions. They try to maintain their global dominance. And to restrain the economic and technological potential of Russia and China,” he said.
