Prosecutor demanded for Vugar Safarley 11 years in prison

In the Baku Court in grave crimes, the trial of the criminal case of Vugar Safarli, the former executive director of the government support for the State Media Development Support Fund, continued.

As reports to Haqqin.az, at this court session, the prosecutor said that the accusations were charged with the accused during the trial found their confirmation. The government concrete demanded to recognize Vugar Safarly guilty of charged charges and sentenced to 11 years in prison. Also V.Safarly should not hold office in government agencies for 3 years.

For accused of the criminal case of Nadir Mamedov, Boneyamina Ismailova, Telman Tairova, Adalat Veliyev, Namik Gadzhieva Prosecutor demanded 7 years to each, for Tamkina Khalilova, Valeh Orujev, Shahina Ibrahimov and Bakhtira Fatullaeva – for 2 years.

at the meeting it was noted that the preventive measure was applied during the judicial investigation against the accused the supervision of the police should be changed to the preventiveness in the form of arrest.

The prosecutor also demanded to sentence the defendant in the criminal case Tahmin Yagubov to six years conditionally and satisfy a civil lawsuit filed by the State Media Development Committee in connection with the criminal case.

The trial will continue on December 14.
