The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan has commented on the news of the arrest of Lieutenant General of the Reserve Rovshan Akperov.
As reported by haqqin.az in the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the department stated that the information about the arrest of General R. Akperov is true.
The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that the public will be provided with more detailed information.
Note that Rovshan Akperov was the commander of the legendary brigade No. 777, participated in the prevention of a coup in 1995, and later became the commander of an army corps. R. Akperov was dismissed from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan in the first days of the second Karabakh war
