Prosecutor General’s Office demands to deprive inviolability of Eldaniz Salimov

Attorney General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev introduced the idea of ​​depriving the deputy inviolability of Eldaniz Salimov.

According to the report of the Prosecutor General’s Office, this issue will be considered at the meeting of the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis, and then at the parliamentary meeting.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has previously distributed information in connection with the investigation on the fact of beating Milli Majlis by Eldanis Salimov Police officer. According to the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on July 29, after midnight, in the village, recruitment of the Khachmaz district at the public catering facility belonging to the relative of Salimov. According to the assembled material, a criminal case was initiated under Article 309.2 (excess of official powers) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. Currently, investigative actions are held in the case.

According to Article 89 of the Constitution, Milli Majlis deputy is deprived of a mandate in case of a crime and in the presence of a court sentence.
