In Azerbaijan, a criminal case has been instituted against several entrepreneurs, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
According to the department, on the basis of statements of citizens and information of authorized state structures in the Department of Nemanding Production, an investigation was conducted on the facts of illegal extraction of a sand-gravel mixture in the territory of the Agdam, Agidzabyadinsky and Singani regions.
The facts of conducting illegal sand and gravel development by individuals – Elman Nadzhafov (at the Gargarkhai deposit in the territory of the Agdam region), Alisha Akhmedov (at the Gargarkhai field in the territory of the Agidzhabmedinsky district) and the legal entity of RIVAES LLC (on Gilgilchai deposit in the Shopyansky district).
In fact, a criminal case has been instituted under Articles 188.1 (violation of ownership, use or lease to the land), 255.1 (violation of the rules for the protection and use of the land plot) and 308.1 (abuse of official powers) of the Criminal Code. Materials are sent to the Investigative Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office for the investigation.
