Protes Resumed In Georgia

In the capital of Georgia Tbilisi, a protest rally is held near the building of the country’s parliament.

This is reported by Georgian media.

Protest rally began against the background of a meeting of the parliamentary investigative commission investigating the “crime committed during the presidency of Mikhail Saakashvili.”

The demonstrators gathered at the entrance to the building of the legislative body in order to express disagreement with the ongoing investigation of the events of August 2008.

The police built a cordon at the entrance to the building.

Among the protesters there are detainees.
