Protesters in Yerevan surrounded the residence of Armenian President Armen Sarkisian. The video footage from the scene is published by the Telegram channel “Sputnik Near Abroad”.
The footage shows how the protesters gathered at the gate. They are in a peaceful mood, music is playing. A cordon of security forces has lined up near the residence, the protesters keep at a safe distance.
As reported by the Sputnik Armenia Telegram channel, another large opposition rally is being held in Yerevan in support of the demand of the General Staff of the Armed Forces to dismiss Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Supporters of the military have already held a rally near the Ministry of Defense, and then staged a rally to the presidential residence.
