The military junta that seized power in Niger on July 26, intends to bring to President Mohamed Bazuma a betrayal of treason.
The relevant statement was read out by the press secretary of the ruling body of the rebels – the National Council of Protection of the Motherland (CNSP) Amadu Abraman.
According to the report, the Bazum will be held accountable on charges of “state treason” and “a threat to the country’s security.”
It is noted that “evidence is collected that will be used to judge the overthrown president and his local and foreign accomplices.”
It is also noted that “some West African lobbies disseminate unreasonable information about the transition government.”
Putchists expressed dissatisfaction with the solidarity of representatives of the international community with “displaced government officials.”
