Putin And Aliyev Discussed Training Of Azerbaijani-Armenian Peace Treaty

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

“Leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful results of the recent state visit of the President of Russia to Azerbaijan. It is noted that the consistent implementation of the agreements reached during negotiations will contribute to the further deepening of the Russian -Azerbaijani relations of allies and partnerships,” the report said.

The discussion of various aspects of the current situation in Transcaucasia has been continued, including the preparation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace treaty, delimitation and demarcation of the border, and unlocking transport communications between the two states.

The Russian side confirms the readiness and further to provide all possible assistance to Baku and Yerevan in the development of appropriate mutual decisions, the message is noted.
