Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky agreed to come to the G20 summit, which will be held in Indonesia in November. This was stated by Indonesia Ambassador to the UAE Husin Bagis, reports The National.
“Both agreed to be present. The situation is not easy because of the Ukrainian-Russian war,” the diplomat said. He clarified that the leaders of Russia and Ukraine will live in different hotels to avoid unnecessary tension. “We decide in which hotels to place them – in one Putin and in the other – Zelensky,” said the Indonesian ambassador.
If the heads of Russia and Ukraine come to the summit, this will be their first meeting after the start of the war in Ukraine on February 24.
