Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Mikael Agasandyan on the permanent and authorized representative of the Russian Federation when organizing a collective security agreement (CSTO), reports Haqqin.az with reference to the Kremlin website.
Mikael Agasandyan since 2015 was the Deputy Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry. He oversaw questions related to the activities of the UN Security Council, with the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, sanction policy, relations in the Balkans.
