Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Samarkand, where he will take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit (SCO), the Kremlin press service reports.
It is noted that the Russian leader in bilateral and multilateral formats has planned meetings with the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Chairman of China and Prime Minister of Pakistan.

On Friday, September 16, Putin will participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO state, where he will state his opinion in detail about the tasks facing the organization, and offer certain measures aimed at improving its activities. On the same day, the President of Russia will also have meetings with the leaders of foreign countries.
