Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the then authorities began the war in Ukraine in 2014.
“The war was started, you know it much better than anyone else, not by us, but in 2014 after a coup d’etat in Ukraine,” said Vladimir Putin, the words of which were brought by the Russian media.
He also accused the heads of the Foreign Ministry of France, Poland and Germany of not fulfilling their obligations as guarantors of peaceful development in Ukraine after a change of power in 2014.
