Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law according to which it is forbidden to disclose information about the tactics and methods of the FSB, foreign intelligence bodies, as well as a mobilization authority, Russian media reported on Monday, November 7.

The law says that the initiative is aimed at “preventing the disclosure of information about the tactics and methods of the special services”, which “is always aimed primarily at ensuring the security of the state in order to identify, prevent and suppress illegal, including intelligence,” .
According to the document, the activities of the FSB bodies, security bodies, foreign intelligence bodies and the federal executive body in the field of mobilization in the Russian Federation are excluded from the scope of the law on the organization of state and municipal services.
