The advancing 2025 was declared in Russia “The Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.” This is stated in the New Year’s appeal of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to citizens of the country.
The President of the Russian Federation noted the importance of “military labor” of Russian military personnel participating in the “special military operation” in Ukraine.
“In your honor, for the glory of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and as a tribute to the memory of our ancestors, who at all times fought for the Motherland, the advancing of the 2025th declared the year of the defender of the Fatherland,” said Putin.
The President of the Russian Federation also expressed confidence that the country will “go only forward.”
He noted that the first quarter of the 21st century was filled with many, including “historically significant, large -scale events” for Russia.
“We still have a lot to solve, but we can rightfully be proud of what has already been done. This is our general property, a reliable basis for further development. Our country is independent, free and strong – was able to answer the most difficult challenges. And Now, on the threshold of the New Year, we are sure that everything will be good, we will only go forward, that there was an absolute value for us, there is and will be the fate of Russia, the well -being of its citizens. Life is highly meaningful.
“We set us great goals and achieved them, more than once overcome the trials, because we were together. That is how our unity is strong, our faith in ourselves and in our own abilities, in our own capabilities,” he added.
