“Today, our moral duty is to keep the traditions of friendship and mutual assistance bequent by fathers and grandfathers, to prevent distortion of historical truth about the Great Patriotic War, as well as the excuses of the Nazis, their accomplices and the current ideological heirs,” the document says.
As the President of Russia emphasized, the spiritual heritage of the Great Victory will continue to contribute to the strengthening and fruitful development of relations between our countries and peoples.
Vladimir Putin handed over the words of sincere gratitude to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the workers of the rear, wished them good health, vigor, prosperity and long years of life.
