Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with permanent members of the Council of Russia and discussed the issue of additional measures to prevent threats in the field of internal security, TASS reports.
“On the agenda, we have a discussion on additional measures to prevent and neutralize threats in the field of internal security,” Putin said, opening a meeting.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustine, Speakers of the Federation Council and State Duma Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the President of the President Anton Waino, Secretary of Sat Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin and the Special Representative of the President on Environmental Activities, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
