The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Federation should study the experience and tactics of NATO countries and include them in the training program for Russian troops, said President Vladimir Putin, writes Moscow Times.
According to Putin, NATO funds are actively used by the Ukrainian army and therefore are “well known”. “You have all this and all this should be carefully analyzed, used in the construction of our armed forces to increase the combat capabilities of the troops,” the President of the Russian Federation said.
“The task of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff is to carefully analyze, to systematize the experience as quickly as possible, include personnel training plans, preparation of troops as a whole and supplying the necessary equipment to the troops,” the President of the Russian Federation said.
He emphasized that the Russian armed forces at the moment have no financing restrictions, adding that Sergey Shoigu, Valery Gerasimov, and “all commanders” should pay attention to this.
