The dependence of the economies of European countries on the Russian Federation turned out to be greater than Russia’s dependence on them. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the residents of Anadyr, held as part of a working trip to the Chukotsk Autonomous Okrug.
Putin noted that the West has “problems above the roof”, but Russia does not rejoice in these problems, “does not give a dentist”, but notes that even the leading economies of Europe have encountered difficulties.
“Even the leading economies of Europe are experiencing not the best time. We have growth, but they have a fall. Well, now we will not, these are details. We are not happy, but the fact remains. And it is such that it turned out that their dependence More from us than ours is from them, ”said the President of the Russian Federation.
“The main thing that we showed to ourselves and the whole world is that Russia is a self -sufficient country in every sense of the word. Strong and moving forward, confidently looking forward. This is absolutely the most important result of the last year,” added President.
Touching the topic of threats against the Russians who come from abroad, the President of the Russian Federation advised to “think about himself.”
“Well, they sit there behind the cordon, work widely, often through automatic systems, send them to everyone in a row, it does not scare us, let them think about themselves that there will be tomorrow, what to dress, what to eat and on than to move. They have all problems above the roof. They are not comparable even with our problems, ”he concluded.
Putin first flew to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug with a working trip as the President of the Russian Federation. It is also the first regional trip for the President of the Russian Federation in the coming year.
