Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the course of the “special military operation” of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, potential threats from the decision of Finland and Sweden to join NATO, as well as a number of other topics. This was announced on Friday by the press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov.
“Along with current questions, the Minister of Defense Shoigu informed the participants in the meeting about the course of” Special Military Operation, “said the Kremlin representative, quoted by ACS
“An exchange of views on the topic of the decision of Finland and Sweden to join NATO and the potential threats to Russia arising in this regard,” Peskov noted.
“A number of issues were also addressed in the context of the upcoming CSTO summit on Monday,” the presidential spokesman added.
