Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on an increase in the number of military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by 137 thousand units. The corresponding document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“to establish the standard number of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the amount of 2 039,758 units, including 1,150,28 military personnel,” the document says. This decree will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
