In accordance with Article 82 of the Constitution of Russia in the presence of members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma and judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin brought the oath to the people of Russia. The Chairman of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin announced the entry of Vladimir Putin as president.

Vladimir Putin will hold the post of President of the Russian Federation for another six years, until 2030.
