Restoration of trade and economic relations and transport routes in Karabakh is the most important component of post-conflict recovery in the region and development of Armenia, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, Interfax reports.
“Of course, the most important component of post-conflict recovery is the possibility of restoring trade and economic relations and transport routes in the region so that Armenia receives new opportunities for the development of the country,” he said during the negotiations with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
Putin also noted that “40% of all capital investments in the Armenian economy have Russian origin.”
