At the end of the performance at the plenary meeting of the Forum of the United Cultures, Vladimir Putin answered questions from media representatives regarding a possible decision to apply long -distance weapons of the West in the Russian Federation.
“by Ukraine, by high -precision Western weapons, it will mean that NATO countries are directly involved in the war,” he said.
According to him, the Armed Forces themselves are not able to apply such blows – this can only happen when using NATO satellites, which Ukraine does not have, only the alliance servicemen “can make flight tasks to these missile systems.”
“It is about making a decision that NATO countries are directly involved in the military conflict or not,” the president said.
According to Putin, if the decision is made, this will change the very essence, the nature of the conflict, and this will mean that NATO countries are fighting with Russia.
“And if so, then, referring to the very essence of this conflict, we will make the relevant decisions based on the threats that will be created for us,” the president summed up.
