Russian President Vladimir Putin told the North Korean leader Kim Jong -un that Moscow and Pyongyang will jointly ensure “further buildup of the entire complex of structural bilateral ties.” This was reported by the North Korean State Agency of Tsak.
In a letter to Kim Jong-un on the occasion of the Day of Liberation Day, Putin indicated that closer relations correspond to the interests of both countries and will help strengthen security and stability on the Korean peninsula and in North-Eastern Asia, the agency said.
Kim Jong-un also sent a letter to Putin, in which he noted that Russian-Several Korean friendship began during the Second World War with the victory over Japan, which occupied the Korean peninsula.
“Strategic and tactical cooperation, support and solidarity between the two countries rise to a new level” to eliminate threats and provocations from hostile military forces, the letter from Kim Jong -un.
Tsak did not specify what is meant under hostile forces, but usually this term is used in relation to the United States and their allies.
