Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “Russia has created modern Ukraine,” Russian media reports.
“I can’t help but recall how the Soviet Union was formed when Russia created modern Ukraine. It was Russia who created modern Ukraine, transferring significant territories, the historical territories of Russia together with the population,” Putin said, speaking at the rally- concert on Red Square in Moscow.
