USA and other NATO countries should take on the bulk of Afghanistan restoration costs. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared this during a joint meeting of the SCO and CSTO.
According to the Russian leader, it is America and the North Atlantic Alliance that are responsible for the situation that at the moment has developed in the republic. “The bulk of the costs associated with the restoration of Afghanistan should take over the United States, NATO countries, which are an obvious thing – they are directly responsible for the serious consequences of many years of presence in this country,” said Putin, whose words lead Sputnik Tajikistan.
Russian President also expressed the need for a discussion with Washington defrosting the funds of the republic in foreign banks. The lack of money can push the authorities of Afghanistan for the sale of drugs and weapons, the head of the Russian state believes.
