Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation with Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that Moscow will continue to provide Ankara to comprehensive assistance in the extension of forest fires. This was reported on Saturday in the press service of the Kremlin.
“On July 31, a telephone conversation was held with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the President of the Republic of Turkish Republic Recep Erdogan. The emergency situation that established as a result of forest fires in the southern regions of Turkey was discussed. Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russia will continue to provide Turkey to comprehensively with fire extinguishing. Recep Erdogan has been warmly thanked for the provisional support provided, “added in the Kremlin.
