Russians and France presidents Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron exchanged views in a telephone conversation about what was happening in Ukraine, reports TASS.
It is noted that Putin informed the French colleague about the reasons for the special operation.
“Vladimir Putin’s organized on the initiative of the French side of the French Federation with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, a serious and frank exchange of views took place about the situation around Ukraine,” the Kremlin says.
According to the press service of the President of Russia, Putin gave exhaustive explanations of the causes and circumstances of the decision to hold a special military operation. Leaders also agreed to stay in contact.
