Russian President Vladimir Putin transferred the assets of the American company Universal Beverage Company under the Temporary Directorate of the Federal Property Management Agency, which operates in the Russian market, including the largest producer of the main products “General Product”. The reservation of a decree is published on the portal of legal acts.
The company, through a subsidiary, PromSelkhozinvest owns a large manufacturer of canned chief products, Verkhovsky dairy and conservation factory, Baltic canry factory, Orylproductor and JSC United Tales,
Thus, the Baltic Costs Plant and LLC United Time Plants and other shares of subsidiaries
also transferred to the temporary department of the Federal Property Management Agency.
Earlier, in April 2023, the President of the Russian Federation signed a decree providing for the introduction of temporary management of assets from “unfriendly” countries in response to the seizure or restriction of rights to Russian property abroad.
