The West is trying to light a conflict even more in Ukraine and draw other states into it. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a video message to the participants and guests of the XI Moscow Conference on International Security.
The Russian leader called the situation in Ukraine “a policy of adding oil into the fire” from Western countries.
“What this policy of adding oil leads into the fire is clearly visible and on the example of Ukraine. Everything is done to light a conflict even more, to draw other states into it,” said the Russian leader.
According to him, NATO continues to increase its potential, uses military and non -persons of pressure.
“NATO members continue to build up and modernize their offensive potentials, attempt to transfer military confrontation to space and information space, use military and non -unified means of pressure. Moreover, all this occurs against the backdrop of the destruction of the control system,” Putin said .
He also stated that all security challenges in different regions of the world are generated by “geopolitical adventures and neocolonialism” of the West.
According to Putin, a number of states are attempting to “pour peoples, cause conflicts and force the country’s vassal humility in the framework of neocolonialism.”
