Islamic Republic of Iran will take large steps to further expand relations with Azerbaijan, President Ibrahim Raisi said.
Azergency reports that President Iran said that friendly and neighboring states with common history, religion, national customs and traditions, possess great potential: “This potential should be used and raise our relations of mutually beneficial cooperation to a high level.
Raish also noted that the new government of Iry will pay special attention to the development of relations with neighbors. From this point of view, Azerbaijan is a close neighbor and friendly Iran by the state. Currently, Iran and Azerbaijan collaborate in various fields: “However, these ties can develop. There are great opportunities for mutual cooperation in the field of economics, technology, agriculture. Iranian companies are ready to take direct participation in the restoration of the territories liberated from the occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan.”
President IRI stressed that in matters of regional security, the coordinated activities of the two states are also needed. “It is important to take joint steps to ensure sustainable peace and tranquility in the region. Official Tehran and Baku must establish closer attitudes in the name of the interests of peoples and these links must have a long time.”
