The ranking of the Ministry of Sports takes into account the results shown by athletes since January of this year. For occupied places (from 1st to 8th) in adult competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Cups and Europe, European Games, Islamiad, as well as World Cups, Grand Prix Tournaments, etc., athletes receive a certain number of points. For example, the victory at the Olympics is estimated at 150 points, silver at 125, bronze – in 100, etc. The gold of the World Cup brings 100 points, silver – 90, bronze – 80. For 1st place at the European Championship, the athlete receives 80 points, for silver – 70, for bronze – 60, etc.
As for the points for high results in other competitions, then they vary depending on the sport, since in every form such starts as the World Cup, Grand Prix, the Grand Helmet and others have different weights.
The rating is updated monthly. In it, a stable performance of a particular athlete comes to the fore. Therefore, sometimes an athlete showing stable results throughout the year can be higher in the ranking of an athlete who has achieved a large, but only one success.
