In order to search for those who are interested in in the database of the registry, it is necessary to fill out the field with the surname, name and patronymic. Data can be entered both in Russian and English. You should also indicate the date of birth, the series and number of the passport, and the date of its issuance. In particular, foreign citizens who have expired the temporary stay, temporary residence permit, residence permit, patent, work permits, and employment contracts will enter the register. The measure will also spread to those foreign citizens who have expired 72 hours of stay as a passenger aboard a cruise vessel or ferry.
In addition, the basis for entering the register will be a decision to terminate the citizenship of the Russian Federation, the appointment of administrative expulsion, a decision on deportation, renovation, unwillingness of stay, insecurity and restriction of departure.
Since February 5, 2025, a register of controlled persons has earned in Russia, in which foreign citizens who are in the country will begin to be included illegally.
“From February 5, 2025, foreign citizens who are illegally located in the Russian Federation will apply the expulsion regime that establishes restrictions on certain rights and freedoms, as well as other measures of federal state control (supervision) in the field of migration,” the reported press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
In September 2024, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Gorovo said that almost 6.2 million foreign citizens are located in Russia, and the first three countries includes Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
